Google Alerts!  

Google Alerts have been around for a very long time. You add an alert topic and it sends you an email if the keyword ever comes up in a Google Crawl. It certainly doesn't catch everything, but something is better than nothing. Out of the blue, you get an email from Google that your alert has been triggered. 

1.) Head over to https://www.google.com/alerts and sign in with a google account! Yes, you need a google account to use google alerts! 

2.)  Let create one with your name. I added IT person. Hit Show Option to see the screen below! 

3.) This is important. We want to know if google finds something as it happens. 

• Change these settings: How often - As It Happens, How many - All, and Deliver to your email. 

4.) Hit that Save button! Your off to a good start.
